WIEGEL TOOL WORKS METAL STAMPING SERVICES FOR THE ELECTRICAL INDUSTRY
PROGRESSIVE DIE HEAVY STAMPING
Our in-house tool room means that we can easily create precision progressive dies for even the most demanding production stamping project needs. Our progressive die heavy stamping press equipment from Minster features the latest technology to meet your requirements, on schedule and on budget. Press monitors and camera sensors provide real-time feedback and quality control to ensure optimal efficiency during the stamping process.
PROGRESSIVE DIE HIGH SPEED STAMPING
Wiegel Tool Works is committed to providing parts stamped on schedule and on budget. Our engineers and manufacturing professionals use the very latest in camera and sensor technology coupled with Bruderer presses to expedite even multimillion-part production runs. As an advanced quality measure, multiple in-die sensors and in-line camera vision systems inspect critical dimensions of all running parts at high speed and high accuracy to eliminate error and ensure the consistent delivery of quality parts.
DIE DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING
Highly customized, state-of-the-art Siemens NX 3D modeling software plus innovations created by our engineers results in design and production work that is unparalleled for precision and efficiency. This is especially true in the reduction of costs typically associated with changes made in the design phase. Our engineers are equipped to design and model the tools for your production program and continually seek ways to refine designs for greater effectiveness and cost savings to pass to our customers.
Our manufacturing process implements prototype testing of concepts early in the development process. We use the results of this testing to refine and perfect the design and select the most appropriate manufacturing technology, saving our customers time and money. Wiegel Tool Works is committed to getting your parts and components produced efficiently and flawlessly.
Whether you need stamped components or assembled products, Wiegel Tool Works serves its electrical equipment industry clients with both types of services. We provide both in-die assembly and secondary semi-automated assembly services allowing us to join plastic, metal inserts, and a wide variety of hardware components with metal stampings.
Waterjet services have a number of advantages for manufacturing electrical equipment industry components. The use of waterjet allows Wiegel Tool Works to cut exotic materials and intricate shapes without the need for tooling design and production. By using 60,000 psi cold water pressure mixed with granite abrasive, parts can be cut from almost any material without harming the integral properties of the part design or raw material. Waterjet cutting is especially useful during the prototyping process and for short production runs.
Wiegel Tool Works leverages the latest technology to ensure efficient metal stamping processes while achieving a goal of zero defects for electrical equipment industry customers.
