We are IATF-16949 and ISO-14001 certified and have a dedicated inspection team who utilizes superior quality control equipment. All of our automated quality control equipment including OGP smart scopes, in-line sensors and in-line camera vision systems are pre-programed with part specifications so we can inspect parts quickly, prevent defects, and ensure 100% quality.

At Wiegel Tool Works, quality is guaranteed because inspection is built into everything we do. At the start of every program, we conduct a feasibility review on the part to ensure manufacturability. To secure quality control before large-scale production begins, we implement a run-at-rate study on the first run of a program. This allows our quality and production management teams to closely monitor controls and ensure the job will run smoothly. Once testing checks out and the first batch of perfect parts are produced, the program can continue through the production process.

Before a part even reaches the formal inspection stage, the tolerances across various dimensions are analyzed by numerous sensor and vision technologies. As parts move off the presses, our camera vision systems perform an automated inspection of stamped parts to ensure 100% quality with zero defects. Machine operators are also performing in-process inspection checks during active production.

Our dedicated inspection and quality lab utilizes Optical Gaging Products (OGP) and Keyence vision systems for final auditing and enhanced quality assurance checks.
