Progressive Die Stamping Services
Boasting up to 100 stamping stations on a high speed die, Wiegel Tool Works progressive die stamping services are perfect for manufacturing components with tight tolerances. With the capacity to run up to 1200 cycles/minute, we can produce pieces as varied as terminals, lead-frames, buss bars, insert molded components, and printed circuit contacts. Wiegel Tool Works primary customers are automotive, communications, military, appliance, telecommunications, and solar, among many others.
Our maximum press bed dimensions are 120" long by 24" wide, with a 9" maximum press stroke. Wiegel Tool Works produces parts up to 24" wide, in thicknesses ranging from .002" (0.05mm) minimum up to 0.150" (3.8mm) maximum. We work with all red metals like copper, bronze, brass, as well as exotic metal alloys, plus aluminum, carbon steel, and ferrous metal.
We hold an ISO/TS 16949:2009 (PDF - 447KB) certification, ensuring rigid quality standards, and can assist in all stages of your product development, from design to production to assembly, as well as finishing services like post plating of precious metals, high pressure and ultrasonic washing, powder coating, and heat treating.
