With the capacity to make parts up to 0.125" thick and well over 16" long,; We specialize in prototype pieces as varied as terminals, lead-frames, buss bars, insert molded components, printed circuit contacts, in service of the automotive, communications, solar, appliance, telecommunications, and semiconductor industries, among many others. We specialize in converting your concepts into a robust production part. Wiegel has 5 design engineers on staff and a complete tooling shop to accommodate our production design and building of production dies. This unique resource available to our prototype department makes us one of the leaders in the industry. We are able to assist in the development stage with selection of the best suited material for the application. This is where we prove out the design and make sure that the production parts and the material selection will be perfect. This saves valuable time and money when starting the production tooling.
We hold an ISO/TS certification, ensuring rigid quality standards, and can assist in all stages of your product development, from design to production to assembly, as well as finishing services like powder coating, heat treating, and stress relieving.
