Wiegel Tool Works' in-house prototype department is the perfect choice for manufacturing components with tight tolerances. With the capacity to make parts up to 0.125" thick and well over 16" long,; We specialize in prototype pieces as varied as terminals, lead-frames, buss bars, insert molded components, printed circuit contacts, in service of the automotive, communications, solar, appliance, telecommunications, and semiconductor industries, among many others. We specialize in converting your concepts into a robust production part. Wiegel has 5 design engineers on staff and a complete tooling shop to accommodate our production design and building of production dies. We are able to assist in the development stage with selection of the best suited material for the application. This is where we prove out the design and make sure that the production parts and the material selection will be perfect. This saves valuable time and money when starting the production tooling.
