Progressive Die High Speed Stamping

Select the leading metal stamping source who executes stringent part requirements at record speeds and utilizes the latest in camera and sensor technology with progressive die high-speed stamping from Wiegel Tool Works.

Our high-speed stamping department operates Bruderer presses to stamp copper-based alloys, aluminum, ferrous, and exotic metals at speeds up to 1,500 strokes per minute. This increased speed enables quick turnaround of multi-million-piece projects. High-speed parts are stamped while running multiple-up tooling progressions at tremendous speeds to yield cost effective parts for our customers. Stamping features include automated in-die assembled, bi-metal, coated, coined, compliant pin (eye of the needle), countersunk, critical dimensions, EB welded, embossed, enameled, eyelets, flat, formed, heat-treated, IDC slots, inlay, multiple stamping, numbering, precious metal plated, reeled, shape critical, skived, strain relief, surface critical, surface mounted, tapped, threaded, tip coin and tuning forks.

Wiegel Tool Works provides efficient, quality-driven metal stamping services for a variety of market segments utilizing innovative equipment and knowledgeable personnel. Our in-house tool room allows us to build precision progressive dies for production stamping, which ensures the most efficient solution for even the most complex tooling requirements and intricate part designs. Industries we serve include aerospace, appliance, automotive, construction and housing, electronics, electrical equipment, lighting, military, solar and telecommunications, among others.

Our high-speed stamping department can produce reliable stamped parts that meet your specification or requirement on time, every time.

Although, each metal has its own blend of mechanical, chemical and surface properties, our knowledgeable engineering and production teams have decades of experience and can achieve the best stamping results from a variety of metals. Our team develops the right tooling techniques to ensure the unique properties of any metal are yielding exactly what our customers want for their metal stampings. Material types we regularly work with include copper, brass, phosphor bronze, beryllium copper, steel, stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, galvanized steel, titanium and platinum.

At Wiegel Tool Works, our utmost priority is customer satisfaction with the quality and integrity of our parts. In-die sensors, press monitoring systems, camera vision systems and a dedicated inspection team ensure parts leaving the production line exceed customer expectations.

The press monitoring system tracks production OEE and offers real-time data feedback reporting from every press on the shop floor. Data collected is used to drive efficiency and eliminate downtime so raw material is processed through machines quicker, parts are coming off the presses at accelerated speeds, and parts are delivered and in the hands of our customers on time. As an advanced quality measure, multiple in-die sensors and in-line camera vision systems inspect critical dimensions of all running parts at high speed and high accuracy to eliminate error and ensure the consistent delivery of quality parts. Our in-house sensor department continues to enhance leading sensor and camera technology to inspect stamped parts at high speed while running multiple-up tooling progressions. Wiegel is the industry leader when it comes to using sophisticated production controls and enabling only the best quality assurance technology.
