Wiegel Tool Works has eight wire EDM’s running in a climate controlled room with the full support of a technological staff capable of meeting a host of challenges.  The room is also supported with a large inventory of System 3R tooling capable of 24 hour operation with the use of robots and large spools of wire capable of running unattended for 48 hours. We have the capabilities to cut with .003”; .004”; .006”; .008”; .010” & .012” wire diameter. With the use of our oil based technology wire EDM we are able to machine carbide and completely eliminate cobalt depletion. This machine offers low specific inductive capacity and a small discharge gap, in which is ideal for high precision machining for high speed die applications.
